Jobs are typically paused for two reasons:

  1. The employer has had numerous pitches and is in active conversations with other members/moving along the interview process and does not wish to receive additional pitches. This does not mean your pitch will not be considered but it is less likely as it may have been submitted after the other qualified members pitched.  We always recommend ideally trying to pitch for a job within 24-72 hours of the posting becoming live if possible.
  2. They are not yet ready to interview or have the project on hold with budget or details of the scope for the time being.

This does not mean you are not in consideration, but please be patient as the employers work through their status.  Members who are newly welcomed to our community are still encouraged to pitch for roles that have been posted previously but be sure to note geographic location needs if necessary.
